Secode sold to NTT Communications
Secode: Playing its part in global security – becoming part of NTT Communications
Secode – “The Digital Security Company” – provides Managed Security Services for top-tier clients in the private and public sectors, helping them to take charge of their IT security.
It is the leading provider in Northern Europe, with operating subsidiaries in Finland, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.
Areas covered include intrusion detection and prevention, vulnerability analysis, log management, managed firewall, and mobile security.
IT security a global concern – Japan-based NTT the right buyer
IT security requires 24/7/365 global capability, and major suppliers are looking to increase their capability, in both scale and skills, to support clients worldwide. For this reason in particular, it was important to look worldwide for potential acquirers that might benefit from incorporating the Secode business.
A thorough process resulted in GCA Altium bringing NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), part of Nippon Telephone and Telegraph, Japan’s leading telecoms group, to Secode as a possible buyer. That process has resulted in an excellent match for both companies.
GCA Altium acted as sole advisor to the sellers.
