GCA Altium advises the shareholders of Jobtome on its sale to Gi Group
GCA Altium has advised the shareholders of Jobtome, a leading online job site aggregator, on its sale to Gi Group, one of the world’s leading HR services providers.
Jobtome was established in 2014 and is headquartered in Switzerland. Its online job site aggregator delivers high-quality traffic to a wide customer base in 35 countries. Jobtome serves a large community of job seekers with more than 20 million users and over nine million job offers made per month.
Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Milan, Italy, Gi Group provides temporary recruitment, permanent and professional staffing, search and selection, executive search, outsourcing, training, outplacement and HR consultancy in a variety of sectors. The firm is a global player with a direct presence and strategic partnerships in the UK and more than 50 countries across Europe, APAC, the Americas and Africa.
One of the key challenges in today’s labour market is to ensure an ever more effective and efficient matching of labour demand and supply and to be attractive to candidates. Jobtome’s platform and the implementation of programmatic advertising technology will allow Gi Group to increase its capacity for bringing together candidates and businesses.
“I’m very optimistic about the success of this partnership,” said Gabriele Borga, CEO & Founder of Jobtome. “Joining Gi Group will further strengthen Jobtome’s growth and expansion plans. In particular, it will allow us to accelerate our go-to-market strategy aimed at businesses that are actively seeking workers.”
Alessandro Soprano, Managing Director at GCA Altium, said: “It has been an absolute pleasure working with Gabriele on this transaction. With its strong global presence Gi Group is, in our view, the ideal partner for Jobtome. Together with the company’s strong management team, Gi Group will lead Jobtome into the next growth phase.”
