GCA Altium advises LEA Partners on the sale of IDL to insightsoftware

GCA Altium acted as exclusive financial advisor to LEA Partners on the sale of IDL, a leading provider of financial performance management software, to insightsoftware, a global provider of enterprise software solutions for the Office of the CFO and a portfolio company of TA Associates and Genstar Capital.

Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Germany, IDL offers a financial performance management suite that includes software solutions for financial consolidation, planning, reporting and analytics. IDL is a recognised market leader by the European Business Application Research Center (BARC) with a #1 ranking for its software’s portfolio capabilities and serves mid-sized and enterprise customers across a diverse range of industries.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed and it is expected to close later this year following regulatory approval.
