Fulwell 73, set up in 2005 by lifelong friends Ben Winston, Leo Pearlman, Ben Turner and Gabe Turner, produces and creates top-quality, commercial television, feature and digital productions. In March 2017 James Corden joined the company as a fifth full partner.

Fulwell 73 works with the world’s leading music and sporting talents, making broadcast specials for Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, Sam Smith, and producing feature documentaries with the likes of David Beckham and Usain Bolt. Recently they were also named as producers for Global Citizens forthcoming live event from South Africa with Beyoncé, Jay Z and Oprah.
Fulwell 73 receives £45m investment from US-based Valence Media, who gain a significant minority stake in the production company
In finalising the £45m investment in Fulwell 73, Valence Media have gained a significant minority stake in the company, and under the terms of the deal Fulwell 73 will continue to operate as an independent entity under its existing management structure, led by its five partners.
Valence Media, a diversified and integrated media company, was launched in February 2018 combining Billboard-Hollywood Reporter, dick clark productions, MRC, and a minority interest in A24 Studio. The company is made up of divisions in premium television, wide release film, specialty film, live entertainment, digital media and publishing.
Leo Pearlman, Partner at Fulwell 73 said: “We have been on the most amazing journey for the last 10 years and the time is absolutely right for us to take this next significant step. As a company we have never stood still and in Valence we now have a partner that can support the ambitions we have for growth, match our entrepreneurial spirit and share our demand for the highest creative standards, whilst allowing us to retain the independence that has been so integral to our success.”
Given Fulwell 73’s established footprint in both documentaries and digital and Valence’s expertise in scripted TV and film, live events and digital media, the investment is expected to drive value to both companies as they look to expand their content offerings. Both companies also have a significant focus on music-driven content, providing additional opportunities for collaboration.
