GCA Altium advises the shareholders of DTZ Dialyse Trainings-Zentren GmbH on its sale to B. Braun Avitum, a division of B. Braun Melsungen AG
GCA Altium acted as exclusive financial adviser to the shareholders of DTZ Dialyse Trainings-Zentren GmbH on the transaction with B. Braun Avitum. This marks GCA Altium’s 7th transaction in the Healthcare space to date in 2015.
DTZ, founded in 1971 and headquartered in Nürnberg, is a family-owned enterprise that operates 14 centers for renal replacement therapies in Germany, Austria and Italy with a focus on hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
B. Braun Avitum today cares for 25’000 patients in 300 centers worldwide. With the acquisition, the Company strengthens its position in the dialysis provider market.
B. Braun Melsungen AG is a family-owned global healthcare company with €5.4 billion revenues in 2014. It offers products for anesthesia, intensive medicine, cardiology, surgery and extra corporeal blood treatment, as well as services for hospitals, general practitioners and the homecare sector.
