GCA Altium has advised Avanade on its acquisition of KCS.net. GCA Altium acted as financial adviser to Avanade, a global business technology solutions provider, formed as a joint venture by Accenture and Microsoft.
Founded in 1989 and headquartered in St. Gallen (Switzerland), KCS.net is the largest Microsoft Dynamics partner in the German-speaking market. The Company implements tailor-made, user friendly and internationally deployable business software solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics AX/ERP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
With more than 300 employees at 16 locations, KCS.net particularly targets customers within discrete and process manufacturing as well as service and wholesale companies.
The acquisition will further enhance Avanade’s Microsoft Dynamics capabilities, which include ERP, CRM, data and analytics. Clients will benefit from the strengthened services, technology skills, industry expertise and delivery experience of the most specialised Microsoft Dynamics professionals in the region.
Avanade was founded in 2000 by Accenture LLP and Microsoft Corp. and has 25,000 professionals in more than 22 countries, generating revenues in excess of USD 2bn. Avanade helps clients realise results in the digital world through business technology solutions, cloud and managed services focused on Microsoft technologies.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
