Ritsuko Nomomiya and Madeleine Jahr appointed to Boards of Shiseido and Viessmann Family Holding

We are delighted to share that Ritsuko Nonomiya, Managing Director of GCA in Japan and Member of GCA’s Executive Board, and Madeleine Jahr, Managing Director of GCA Altium, have recently been appointed to the Boards of Directors of Shiseido and Viessmann Family Holding respectively.

Ritsuko was appointed to the Audit & Supervisory Board of Shiseido, the prominent Japanese multinational personal care company. She was chosen based on her vast experience in finance and accounting at various companies including KPMG in the US and Japan as well as her deep knowledge of M&A and business development gained at GCA, UBS and GE.

Viessmann, a family-run heating manufacturer, appointed a distinguished Board of External Directors comprising Madeleine, Albert Christmann (General Partner of Dr. August Oetker, a leading international food processing firm and one of the largest family-run businesses in Germany) and Thomas Rödder (Partner at international law firm Flick-Gocke-Schaumburg). Madeleine was selected based on her extensive experience working with family-owned companies and family offices.

We are very proud that we have such outstandingly talented and well-connected women in our firm’s leadership and are convinced that we will also benefit from their increased mandates and experience. Congratulations from all of us to Ritsuko and Madeleine!
