Ryosuke Yoshikawa is a Director at GCA Corporation. He has 12 years of investment banking experience including capital markets and originating/executing M&A transactions with a focus on cross-border deals across a wide range of industries and regions.
Prior to returning to GCA in 2016, he worked as an investment banker at Daiwa Securities SMBC, GCA, SMBC Nikko Securities and Macquarie Capital in Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Recent significant transactions include Sumitomo Heavy Industries’ acquisition of Persimmon Technologies, strategic alliance between Video Research and Nielsen, Mitsuba’s business acquisition in Turkey, SMBC’s acquisition of Society General Private Banking Japan, Taisho Pharmaceutical’s acquisition of analgesic brand “FlanaxR” in the Philippines from Roche, Nadex’s acquisition of Weltronic/Technitron, inc., business integration between Tokyo Stock Exchange and Osaka Stock Exchange, SMFG Card & Credit’s acquisition of Cedyna, and Konoike Transport’s acquisition of three ground handling companies in Kansai International Airport from Japan Air Line. He has also advised on numerous transactions in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and India.
Ryosuke received his BA in Policy Management from Keio University in 2002.
