Rinya has over 18 years of experience at global consulting firms focusing on a wide range of advisory services including Business Strategy, Organizational Reform, Business Process Re-engineering, and IT Transformation. In addition, he has experience in launching IT, back-office, and R&D outsourcing services in India and China.
At PwC he was a core member of the Emerging Market Strategy Group, and engaged in emerging market strategy projects for numerous Japanese firms. In recent years, he has focused on growth strategies such as go-to-market strategy, alliance strategy, and pre-M&A strategy (partnering, investment consideration). He has been part of advisory projects in a wide variety of industries including automotive, automotive parts, trading, construction/engineering, electronics/technology, aerospace, logistics, healthcare and consumer goods.
Rinya graduated from Yokohama National University with a BA in Economics.
In 2000, he joined Andersen Consulting (now Accenture Japan Ltd.). In 2013, he joined PwC (Strategy&), and then GCA in 2016.
