Rich Jasen is an Advisory Director for GCA. Throughout his career, Rich has advised on approximately 100 transactions, accounting for more than $7 billion in total value. His clients have included Legendary Pictures, Zynga, Grapeshot, Luminar, Yext, Bitly, MediaMath, TOA Technologies and TouchTunes. His investor relationship network spans from early-stage venture capitalists to growth-focused private equity, later-stage buyout firms, and cross-over hedge funds. In addition, he works with lenders at all levels of the balance sheet.
Prior to joining GCA, he was at E*Offering/SoundView Technology Group, leading the firm’s West Coast private equity effort before its sale to Charles Schwab. Previously, Rich started in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and served as a corporate attorney with a Silicon Valley practice at Cooley Godward, advising startups and working with venture capitalists.
Rich received a BS in business and economics from UCLA and a JD from the University of Chicago Law School. He has served as a board member and advisory board member for several of his clients and regularly speaks at industry events about raising private capital.
