Arthur S. Kirsch
Arthur Kirsch is a Managing Director at GCA and the Global Head of Medical Devices and Diagnostics. He focuses both on public and private companies and has extensive experience completing cross-border transactions with Asian healthcare companies. He joined GCA in 2005 from Vector Securities and has been an M&A banker in this sector for 20 years. Over that timeframe, he has completed numerous public and private financings along with a wide range of strategic advisory assignments. His clients have included Cholestech, Thoratec, OSI Pharmaceuticals, Olympus, Nihon Kohden, and Thermo Electron.
Prior to GCA Advisors, he was part of the senior management team at Vector Securities for 10 years where he was responsible for the Capital Markets segment. The firm was among the leading healthcare boutiques in both M&A and financings. He had senior roles at Natwest Securities, where he was responsible for managing the global securities/investment banking business. He also worked at Drexel Burnham Lambert for 11 years where he was the top-ranked tobacco and beverage analyst as well as managing the equities business.
He earned a BA from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from Baruch College. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aralez Pharmaceuticals a public biopharmaceutical company and Chairman of the Audit Committee.
